Overview

The orders module is a powerful place to handle orders and work through provisioning workflows for various types. It’s bound together with the workflows which can have custom automation behind the scenes to perform tasks, including sending notifications to customers and/or staff.

Usage

Order Status/Steps

The order status is managed from the order view page by clicking on the step you would like to perform. An example of what the steps may look like is

You can navigate back and forward through the steps to adjust which step you are up to.

Suppliers

When you edit an order, and select a service type to order ( note, this may not be specifically related to the “order type” as you may have many service types using the same order type ). The Supplier of that service is auto populated.

Service Types

If you wish only allow some service types to be available in the Service Type dropdown, please uncheck the field Allow Ordering through Orders Module in the Service Types module, as shown here
